Naples is a fascinating city dating to the 2nd millennium B.C, with centuries of history, incredible churches, beautiful monuments and art. You will truly experience the modernity and the authenticity of this epic tourist destination with this 2,5h small group tour.
Starting from Via Duomo, one of the ancient cornerstones of Naples, you can admire the Duomo, the Cathedral of Naples, that preserves the relics of San Gennaro, the Patron Saint of the city.
Inside the cathedral you will find the finest Renaissance work and a precious mosaic flow with animal figures. In the historic heart of the city, you will visit the awsome Sansevero Chapel Museum. The combination of mystery, dynastic pride and beauty with masterpieces such as the Veiled Christ, create a powerful and timeless atmosphere.
From here the tour continues along Spaccanapoli, meaning “Naples Splitter”, which is the straight and narrow main street dividing Naples into two halves, with the churches of Santa Chiara and Gesu Nuovo on its sides.
Walking along Via Toledo, we will reach Piazza Plebiscito, the main square of Naples, which features the Royal Palace, Palazzo Salerno, Prefecture Palace and a statue dedicated to Charles III of Spain. The tour ends in Piazza Municipio, which hosts the Fountain of Neptune.
